Not being known as the most humble of artists, Kanye West has made yet another bold statement on the extent of his stardom in a new interview with BBC Radio 1’s Zane Lowe.

The pair will be chatting in a four-part in depth interview to be unveiled next week. However, BBC released a teaser last night to get fans excited – one which includes a few new choice Kanye-isms.

“We the real rock stars and I'm the biggest of all of them," says West. "I'm the No. 1 rock star on the planet.”

The ‘Black Skinhead’ rapper also mused on his previous album ‘My Dark Twisted Fantasy’, which was among his most critically well-received efforts.

“’Dark Fantasy' could be considered to be perfect,” he said. “I know how to make perfect, but that's not why I'm here.”

The rest of the interview is due to begin airing on Monday.
