Kanye West has responded to a Jimmy Kimmel spoof about him in explosive fashion on Twitter.

The US TV talk show host, who is noted for creating joke videos, recently poked fun at a BBC Radio 1 interview West took part in.

The exchange, with Zane Lowe, saw the rapper make some bold and eccentric statements and Kimmel soon after created a spoof interview using two children.

This provoked West into responding on Twitter, with the 'Yeezus' man saying: "JIMMY KIMMEL IS OUT OF LINE TO TRY AND SPOOF IN ANY WAY THE FIRST PIECE OF HONEST MEDIA IN YEARS."

He added: "JIMMY KIMMEL PUT YOURSELF IN MY SHOES … OH NO THAT MEANS YOU WOULD HAVE GOTTEN TOO MUCH GOOD PUSSY IN YOUR LIFE…YOU CAN'T PUT YOURSELF IN MY SHOES. YOUR FACE LOOKS CRAZY… IS THAT FUNNY?… OR IF I HAD A KID SAY IT WOULD IT BE FUNNY???"

West suggested that he felt betrayed somewhat by Kimmel, with the rapper saying that he attended his family's wedding.
