Video footage of Kanye West's marriage proposal to Kim Kardashian has emerged online.

The US rapper got down on one knee on Monday (October 21) to successfully ask for his girlfriend's hand in marriage.

The proposal took place on Kardashian's 33rd birthday in an empty AT&T Park in San Francisco, except for family, friends and an orchestra.

Footage of the ceremony has now been uploaded online and it sees West going down on one knee to propose.

Guests are then seen rushing over to the happy couple before having champagne and drinks.

Kardashian has since spoken about the proposal, saying: "Last night was truly magical!!! I am the luckiest girl in the world! I get to marry my best friend!"

The reality TV beauty meanwhile gave birth to her and West's first child together, North, earlier this year.
