Kasabian reveal album details

Kasabian have let slip a few details about their upcoming fourth album.

The band has been recording at British Grove studios in London with producer Dan the Automator, who also worked on their previous record ‘West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum’.

Speaking to Q Magazine, singer Tom Meighan revealed several titles of songs that will be appearing on the new album including: ‘Switchblade Smile’, ‘Neon Noon’, ‘Goodbye Kiss’, ‘I Hear Voices’, ‘Shelter From The Storm’ and ‘Velociraptor’. The latter in particular, Meighan described as “mega punk fucking aggression. Totally off the wall, but you know it’s us.”

Guitarist Serge Pizzorno added: “Listening to the songs makes you feel great. Get your fucking jacket on, whack your fucking shoes on. It makes you believe things are going to happen.”

The record is expected out later this year. In the meantime, check out Kasabian performing at last summer’s T in the Park Festival:
