Kasabian going “shit”

Leicester rockers Kasabian insist that the quality of their music is destined to go downhill.

The band is about to release their fourth album later this year, and though they can’t say enough good things about it, the band aren’t so confident that their output can meet such high standards forever.

Guitarist Serge Pizzorno said: "It's to do with being on a roll. Everyone at some point goes s**t it's inevitable. It's about getting it down as quickly as you can, because it won't last.

"It happens to the great writers of all time at some point."

Talking on the new album, the songwriter said that it’s a “jukebox record” that is based around “the greatest songs of all time.”

He said: “We've made a rock classic. I'm smiling when I say that, but it's a rock classic. It doesn't sound like any other rock album you've ever heard."
