Kasabian ban narcotics from the recording studio

'Processed Beats' stars, Kasabian, have vowed to ban narcotics from the studio when working on new music.

The band, who have recently working on their fourth album 'Velociraptor!', noticed a significant difference in the "freshness" of their sound when they hadn't been smoking marijuana.

Frontman Tom Meighan explained to the News of the World that they've grown up and won't mix music with psychedelia anymore:

"For the first couple of albums we were really young and all we did was lie around and get stoned. That's why the records were so trippy and really psychedelic and electronic."

"We've grown up now though and we still have the freshness and the bite. We were in the studio and there were no narcotics and we never will have them in there."
