Kate Nash's music biz despair

Singer-songwriter Kate Nash has launched a stunning attack on the state of the music industry in a Facebook note.

The outspoken 23-year-old used a post publicising her new single ‘Later On’ to bemoan the celebrity dominance of music.

She wrote: “The music industry is a funny place if you’re not a celebrity, a pair of boobs, a trainwreck or a winner/loser from the X Factor!! And I really want art and music to stand a chance without those things because surely it should do?”

Nash called upon fans to fight back by downloading her new single:

“If you could support me and download it today then it would really help me out.”
