Katy Perry has treated fans to a sneak peek at the stage design for her upcoming tour.

The singer is due to head out on her Prismatic tour later this year, with its first dates set to take place Northern Ireland in May.

Ahead of a ticket presale, Perry uploaded an image onto Twitter on Monday (January 20) of what her stage will look like.

It sees a section of fans enclosed in the middle of the stage, with seating placed around it. There is a large prism shape at the end of the stage.

Perry tweeted: "In celebration of tomorrow's PRISMATIC WORLD TOUR PRESALE may I exclusively present a SNEAK PEEK of my custom STAGE."

The very first date of the Prismatic tour will take place in Belfast on May 7.
