Producer says Katy Perry was most nervous performer at Beatles tribute show

Katy Perry was the most nervous artist at the recent Grammys Beatles tribute concert, according to producer Ken Ehrlich.

The music awards ceremony body recently hosted a night in honour of the Beatles and the 50 years that have passed since they landed in America.

A number of big name stars performed at the concert including John Mayer and Alicia Keys, as well as Sir Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr themselves.

However, producer Ken Ehrlich said that Perry was the most nervous about performing in front of the two remaining Beatles. He told Ryan Seacrest:

"Honestly, I think Katy [Perry] was. She was really concerned. I thought she killed on ‘Yesterday,’ I thought she really did a great job, but she was definitely kind of concerned about singing like the number one song in the history of music."

Perry meanwhile is due to open her Prismatic world tour in Northern Ireland on May 7.
