Katy Perry's 'Dark Horse' most streamed song of 2014 in the US

Katy Perry has topped a list of the America's most streamed songs of the year so far.

The singer released her track 'Dark Horse' as one of the singles from her 2013 album 'Prism' and Billboard have revealed that it has racked up 188 million streams in 2014.

This means that the song is the most played so far this year on applications like Spotify, YouTube and Rdio.

Second on the list is 'All of Me' by John Legend, which has secured nearly 145 million streams this year to date.

Jason Derulo's 'Talk Dirty' follows at No.3 (142 million streams), with Pharrell Williams' hit song 'Happy' at No.4 (136 million streams).

A total of 1.24 billion plays were accumulated from the mid-year list's top ten songs.
