A video of a baby who stops bawling when Katy Perry comes on the stereo has become an internet hit.

The singer herself tweeted a link to the amusing video, adding:

"Available for babysitting at 10 dollars an hour & 4 Oreos."

The clip is simply called 'How to stop a baby from crying by Katy Perry Dark Horse' and it sees a little girl's spirits lifted by the US star.

At the time of writing the video has been watched over 300,000 times on YouTube.

'Dark Horse' meanwhile features on Katy Perry's 2013 album 'Prism'.
