Katy Perry teases new album: 'If I stay authentic, the music will connect'
"Teenage Dream" beauty Katy Perry has revealed that she is "experimenting" with styles on her highly anticipated new record.
She called into On Air With Ryan earlier today (August 18) and opened up about the progress she's making with her next studio album:
"I'm just having a lot of fun, but experimenting and trying different producers, and different collaborators, and different styles. I'm not rushing... I'm confident if I stay vulnerable and authentic with myself, the music that comes out of me will continue to connect."
She will also launch her first ever footwear collection with Global Brands Group in Spring 2017 and admitted that it has been a long-time dream of hers: "I've always wanted to be a fashion designer and shoe designer. I said I want to be that person who is creating fun personality shoes that are more affordable. So I've been working on this for a couple years now."
