Katy Perry has stripped off for an amusing new video designed to encourage people to vote in the upcoming US presidential election.

Either Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump look set to be appointed US president after the polls open on November 8.

Perry has featured in a new video created with Funny Or Die and Rock The Vote to tell everyone to make their voice heard in the election.

The skit centres around the idea that you can vote wearing anything, and when you've just got out of bed.

However, Perry gets naked and attempts to vote before being taken away by police.

The singer meanwhile has previously shown support for Clinton in the presidential race.
