Pop sensation Katy Perry has suggested that she will sing "in a whole new way" next year. 

She shared an extensive post on Instagram this weekend and told her followers that she is incredibly grateful to have been awarded the Audrey Hepburn Humanitarian Award from Hillary Clinton at the recent UNICEF Ball and the recent election results in the USA have made her even more determined to use her voice in a different way. 

Katy Perry wrote: "Sometimes people who disagree with me just say, "Shut up and sing." Boy, will I do so in a whole new way... next year. Hell hath no fury like a woman REBORN."
