Katy Perry has given fans a tantalising teaser of new music as she took to Instagram at the weekend to post videos from a recording studio.

The singer, whose last album 'Prism' landed in 2013, sings the line "don’t be scared to" in one of the clips. Another video sees a bass player tracking some notes.

Perry meanwhile recently said that 2017 will see the singer "reborn". She posted on Instagram: "Sometimes people who disagree with me just say, "Shut up and sing." Boy, will I do so in a whole new way... next year. Hell hath no fury like a woman REBORN."
