U.S pop princess Katy Perry performed in London last week and revealed to her audience that she has a real passion for British television. 

The gig, which was on Thursday, March 17, at the capital's Hammersmith Apollo was sold out and the 'Teenage Dream' singer told the crowd that there's nothing like a bit of trash TV:

"I love The Only Way Is Essex, even though I don't understand what they are saying. It is genius."

"I watch My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding. I want those dresses. I watch a lot of English TV."
