Katy Perry's 'Teenage Dream' earns £30 million

Katy Perry has earned £30 million her latest album, 'Teenage Dream'.

The 'Firework' hitmaker now holds Michael Jackson's record for the most Billboard No.1 hits from an album, becoming the first female musician to hold that title.

Perry topped Billboard's Hot 100 chart again with her single 'Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)'.

The 26-year-old pop star holds the most nominations at this year's MTV Video Music Awards. Perry leads the pack with nine VMA nominations, including 'Video of the Year' and 'Best Female Video,' for her explosive hit, 'Firework.' She also got nods for 'Best Pop Video' for 'Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)', and 'Best Special Effects' for 'E.T.' featuring Kanye West.
