'Part Of Me' hitmaker Katy Perry has admitted that despite everything that's going on in her personal life at the moment she is feeling incredibly creative. 

Speaking to MTV News, the songstress explained that she is channelling her emotions into her work although she doesn't want to get ahead of herself seeing as she hasn't yet returned to the studio to make new music:

"I don't want to jinx myself 'cause I haven't stepped into the studio. I have an idea - I always have an idea. Like, I have an idea for the next two records; it just depends."

"I don't want to give too much away. I also don't want to play the game of trying to continually top myself because eventually it may not always go as I planned."

Her 'Teenage Dream' album enjoyed fantastic success internationally and she admitted that as long as she follows her heart where her next record is concerned she will be happy within herself:

"I may not get to be able to have another #1, so I'm just gonna do what feels right for me artistically. I'm very inspired at the moment, and so I'm gonna follow my heart as I always have and hopefully people will like it."
