Katy Perry reveals further info about new 3D concert movie

Katy Perry has revealed that her upcoming 3D concert movie will be out before the 4th of July.

The 27-year-old, who is currently at number one in the UK with 'Part Of Me,' told friend Kelly Osbourne the news whilst being interviewed on the orange carpet at the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards last night.

The 'I Kissed A Girl' star, who last year voiced the character of Smurfette in The Smurfs, also confirmed that the film will be called 'Katy Perry: Part Of Me,' and encouraged fans “to go and see it and be a firework.”

The Californian singer had previously told MTV News about what fans can expect from the movie, saying: "It's closing the chapter on Teenage Dream, but it's giving you such an inside perspective [...] This film, you're going to see it from my best friend/buddy perspective, you're going to see exactly what I mean and feel and think about everything."

Perry, who took to the stage for a medieval themed performance of 'Part Of Me' at the awards, joins the likes of The Jonas Brothers, Miley Cyrus and Justin Bieber on the list of stars who have chosen to showcase their tour and behind-the-scenes footage on the big-screen.
