Katy Perry is "tired" of being famous

Katy Perry has revealed that she's "tired" of being famous and thinks that stardom is nothing more than a "disgusting by-product" of being a a pop singer.

In a new interview with Teen Vogue, the songstress explained that while she loves the creative side of working in the music industry she can't stand the fame that comes with it:

"I’m tired of being famous already! But I’m not tired of creating. Fame is, I think, just a disgusting by-product of what I do... It’s a delicate creature – a wild animal of sorts."

The 'Teenage Dream' hitmaker is due to release her exciting 3D concert movie, entitled 'Part Of Me', in the summer and added that she still wants to seem "approachable" to her fans:

"I still want to be as approachable and relatable as possible. When I meet fans and they're crying, I'll say, 'Calm down, there's nothing to cry about. 'I'm not going to bite you or attack you or grant you three wishes. Let's just hang out and have a good time.'"
