Katy Perry has opened up about her upcoming 3D film, 'Part Of Me'.

Speaking to Ellen DeGeneres, Perry said that she felt it was important to document both the time she had in her relationship with Russell Brand and also the time during its implosion too.

She reckons this helps to show that people aren't always "perfect". Perry said:

"I thought it was important for me to show everything in between. Sometimes people think that we're perfect and we know we're not at all. I think it's important to start breaking down the idea that to achieve your dream you have to be perfect or flawless or live in a fantasy world."
