Katy Perry told to ditch spinning bras to avoid neck injury

Katy Perry has revealed that she has been told to ditch spinning bras and dresses because they pose a health risk.

The singer has often been seen in outfits with spinning attachments on the bust, with Perry wearing a candy inspired one in her new film 'Part of Me'.

Speaking to The Sun, Perry said that insurers are worried however about the singer getting her hair caught in the spinning parts and in turn they feel she could injure her neck. She said:

"I keep being told the insurers are worried I will injure my neck. I seriously doubt it could be lethal but they want a new bra designed that will not allow hair to be caught up. Well, I was always known at school as the over-the-shoulder-boulder-holder."

Perry also opened up on one spinning incident in which she ended up looking like she was "licking her own t**". She said:

"My hair got caught in the wheels of my spinning peppermint bra and began to coil around and around. I'm forced to just go with it so, by the end of the song, it looked quite like I was licking my own t**. What a girl does for her art."
