Katy Perry admits she’d have to work on acting skills to pursue film career

Katy Perry has admitted that she would have to work on her acting skills if she wanted to pursue a career in Hollywood.

The 27-year-old, who voiced Smurfette in last year’s adaptation of The Smurfs, told OK! magazine that she knows she couldn’t just walk into any big-screen role:

"Yeah, I can''t make the mistake to think that I would actually be good at everything, so I''d probably have to work at it - dang it!"

The 'California Gurls' star, who this week acknowledged that she couldn’t be the 'candy queen forever,' went on to add how pleased she was with her own movie, Katy Perry: Part Of Me, after being asked if she’d left any slightly more personal footage out:

"Erm, no. I put all the best stuff in here, most definitely. And I think I was personal in the right way. Not in like, here's my dirty laundry take a sniff. It''s the right amount of fun and funny."
