In July last year, it was confirmed that pop sensation Katy Perry had signed up to become the face of potato chip brand Popchips.

She has now added her own favourite flavour to the brand's collection and explained in a statement that it is called Katy's Kettle Corn:

"Popchips had never ventured into sweet territory before, but I wanted to add my personal touch when creating a flavor. After a series of intensive taste tests, I'm proud to introduce the best of both worlds, and my dream snack realized - Katy's Kettle Corn!"

This new snack is due to be available from February.

Meanwhile, Perry took to her official Twitter page earlier today (January 24) and told her followers that she will be on the next episode of The Ellen Show: "WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON HERE?? Tune in to @TheEllenShow tomorrow to find out!"
