Pop songstress Katy Perry has unveiled a brand new teaser clip for her new album's lead single, 'Roar'.

It follows in the same vein as the previous video although this time around the end of her 'Teenage Dream' era is cemented with a funeral scene that shows a white coffin covered in cute pink lollipop windmills descending into the ground.

A group of mourners dressed in black, with some girls wearing Perry's brightly coloured wigs, can be seen watching as Perry stares into the camera, pulls down her dark glasses and smirks. This new teaser really signifies the end of her former persona.

She also tweeted a link to the video, which is only 23 seconds long, and accompanied it with the caption: "Ashes to ashes, dust to dust, a new beginning is a must!"

The first teaser clip she made saw her setting fire to the electric blue wig that became almost synonymous with her previous album. Perry's new record, 'Prism', will be released on October 22.
