Katy Perry gives debut performance of 'Dark Horse'

Katy Perry has performed her new song ‘Dark Horse’ live for the first time.

The ‘Teenage Dream’ star sang ‘Dark Horse’ during her set at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas yesterday (September 21).

Perry first revealed the track earlier this month and is taken from her forthcoming album ‘Prism’.

The American pop singer was joined onstage by rapper Juicy J, who features on the record, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.

Away from the stage Katy Perry took the time to talk to reporters at the Las Vegas festival about fellow performer Miley Cyrus.

The 28-year-old ‘Roar’ hitmaker praised Cyrus’ vocal abilities saying:

“I have heard her sing 'Wrecking Ball' before that single came out and I tweeted about it a long time ago before it even came out and I was just so excited about it for her. She's got a set of pipes that are incredible.”

Katy Perry’s new album ‘Prism’ will be released in the UK on October 22.
