Katy Perry performs with Ellie Goulding and more at charity show

Katy Perry was joined by a host of big names last night (October 23) at a special charity show.

The singer and a number of stars including Ellie Goulding and Tegan and Sara all performed at the We Can Survive: Music for Life event at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles.

Proceeds from the concert - which also starred Bonnie McKee, Sara Bareilles and Kacey Musgraves - went to breast cancer charity Young Survival Coalition.

They all played on the night and it was Katy Perry - a co-organiser of the show - who opened with an hour long set.

She also brought on rapper Juicy J, who helped the singer through the track 'Dark Horse'.

The crowd was treated to a special rendition at the end of the night, however, as all the acts joined together on stage to play through Perry's hit song 'Roar'.

Tweeting after their slot, Tegan and Sara said: "What an absolutely awesome + important night! So excited to have been apart of it! Now we're gonna enjoy the rest of the show! #wecansurvive."

Perry's new album 'Prism' meanwhile is on course to land at No.1 in the UK on Sunday (October 27)
