Katy Perry has revealed the making of her 'Unconditionally' video.

The singer recently released the song as the latest track from her massive 2013 album 'Prism', with a promo clip soon surfacing.

She has now unveiled a behind the scenes clip of the video's shoot.

Speaking about the piece of film and why she wanted to make a video for the track, Perry said:

"I wanted to do a video for 'Unconditionally' because of the beautiful universal message that this song has in it about love. Not just in a relationship, between a man or woman or a love relationship - it can be a song about the unconditional love between a mother and a daughter, a father or son or sisters or a friend."

The US star meanwhile is set to bring her Prismatic tour to the UK in May.
