Songstress Kelly Clarkson has revealed that she is expecting her second baby with husband Brandon Blackstock.

The hitmaker was performing her song 'Piece By Piece' live in Los Angeles last night (August 19) when she became emotional and stopped to announce the exciting news to her audience. She said:

"I was not planning on announcing this, but I'm totally pregnant... I'd like to apologise to my husband. That was not planned. I just didn't want you to think I was crazy or something. Honestly, I'm just so hormonal today. Nothing's wrong, everything's great... I haven't vomited yet. That is a freakin' win, y'all."

Clarkson is already mother to a 14-month-old daughter named River Rose and back in April she revealed a desire to have another child, but joked that she hopes it's a boy because she's heard that morning sickness is something that comes with having a girl: 

"My body shut down when I'm pregnant, it was the worst. It was really hard, just physically couldn't stop vomiting. Honestly the only reason I am hoping for a boy is because they usually say if you're sick with a girl, you won't be with the boy. And if you are sick with the boy, you won't be with the girl. I'm purely hoping it is a boy so I can have the most magically wonderful pregnancy."
