Kelly Clarkson's eclectic influences

Kelly Clarkson has released more information about her forthcoming album.

The 'Because Of You' singer took to her Facebook page yesterday, February 15, and wrote:

"I record my last song on the 25th of this month and then we will be releasing the album!"

The star, who recently had her track 'My Life Would Suck Without You' covered on the hit U.S show Glee, also unveiled an eclectic range of bands and artists that influenced her style on her new record:

"This album was influenced by Prince, Tina Turner, Sheryl Crow, Radiohead and there's a little bit of a Country vibe/influence on a couple of songs."

She also teased fans with specific details about her favourite song featured on the tracklist:

"Oh and also one of my favourites on the new album is highly influenced by Aretha Franklin and Stevie Wonder. Eric Hutchinson wrote it."
