Kelly Clarkson has confirmed plans to tour the UK later this year.

The former American Idol singer is set to hit British shores in October, playing a number of five dates in total.

She will begin her short trek at Manchester on October 12 before finishing off at London's Wembley Arena on October 20.

Clarkson will also play Birmingham, Glasgow and Sheffield on the tour.
