'Catch My Breath' hitmaker Kelly Clarkson has just celebrated her 31st birthday (April 24) and took to her official Twitter page to express her excitement at the way her fiancé, Brandon Blackstock, treated her to mark the occasion.

Writing on the social networking site, the beauty admitted that she's happier than ever and can't wait for the rest of the year's events to unfold: "Today is my 31st birthday! I'm the happiest I've ever been in my life and my career has never been stronger :)"

"Thank you God for such an amazing family , group of friends, and a fan base that is rockin'! For my birthday I get to put out a Christmas Album at the end of the year (It's sounding amazing!!), go on tour with @Maroon5 (gonna be killer), and GET MARRIED!! It's a big year people!! Thanks for the birthday wishes everybody! I really appreciate all of them :)"

She then shared a couple of photographs (shown left and below) from the day and added: "I woke up to sunflowers and a red velvet cake that my baby made me :) I'm so in love I'm annoying myself ha!"
