Kelly Osbourne defends Justin Bieber: 'It's really unfair and people should give him a break'

TV presenter and personality Kelly Osbourne has spoken out in defence of Miley Cyrus and Justin Bieber, insisting that they're always unfairly painted in a bad light.

Speaking to HuffPost Live earlier this week, the lavender-haired 'Fashion Police' star explained that she sympathises with both Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus, because they never have the opportunity to learn from their mistakes as there's always someone ready to jump in and smooth things over for them:

"It's not fair, every teenager deserves to make a mistake and to act out and to learn from them. And how can they learn from their mistakes if there's always somebody there to fixit for them and no one there really trying to help them. So in that situation, when it comes to Justin Bieber, I find it really unfair. I think people need to give him a break. If you do something wrong, you pay, but give the kid a break."

Osbourne added that Miley Cyrus is also targeted in the same way as Bieber, but she's proud of the 'We Can't Stop' sensation because she's being true to herself:

"As for Miley, you can't paint them with the same brush, they're two completely different people. I'm proud of her because, whether you agree with what she's done or not, she's done this by her guns and she's not fake."
