Kelly Osbourne on fashion: 'Don't worry about trends because things I was made fun of for are now stylish'

'Fashion Police' co-host Kelly Osbourne has revealed that trends are so transient that she never bothers to follow them and prefers to dress to suit her moods and style at that time.

Speaking to Women's Wear Daily recently, the star admitted that she ignores trends and just likes to style herself according to how she's feeling:

"Don't worry about trends. I never have, ever. I think it's crazy now that Birkenstocks are in fashion because I've always worn them and gotten made fun of for them. I like taking things that society considers to be ugly or uncool and finding a way to make them beautiful in everyone's eyes."

"I like the androgyny of men's wear but really girlifying it."

Earlier this summer, Osbourne shared with her fans the best piece of advice she has ever been given where beauty is concerned: "The best tip my mum taught me is that beauty comes from the inside. You have to love yourself and be comfortable with yourself. And when you can’t accept yourself for who you are, no matter how hard you try — I tried real hard — you’re never going to wake up and be anyone else."
