Singer and presenter Kelly Osbourne has spoken out about her disgust after a fake Amy Winehouse Twitter account was created and sent a message to her that read, "miss ya darling! x".

Shortly after the message was sent, Osbourne took to her own social networking account and told her followers:

"I just can't believe the nerve of some people! Why would anyone make a fake profile and pretend to be Amy W that is just sick! Good news everyone I have emailed twitter and the ass hole with fake Amy profile @amyjmermaid will be taken down in a matter of hours!"

When asked what exactly had happened, she replied publicly to a fan and wrote "she is tweeting me and her father pretending to be Amy I can only pray mitch never sees it!"

The person who created the fake account, under the name @amyjmermaid, posted a photograph documenting the conversation she had with Osbourne and explained that she was "jus tryna (sic) keep her alive. didn't mean anything by it. sorry."
