Kelly Osbourne has claimed that she’s had to work ‘twice as hard’ to gain respect in the entertainment industry.

The daughter of Black Sabbath front-man Ozzy and former X-Factor judge Sharon told Hello Magazine that despite having several projects currently in the pipeline, things haven’t always been easy:

"I've got a new movie - So Undercover with Miley Cyrus? I've got my weekly filming with Fashion Police, I've got a few months left with Madonna, working on her Material Girl fashion line and I'm the creative director of cult variety show Beacher's Madhouse at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel.

"I've had to work twice as hard to get the respect and the jobs I've had. No one could say my life is boring."

The 27-year-old, who was recently involved in a Twitter war with Lady Gaga fans, also praised younger brother Jack, who is currently expecting his first child with fiancée Lisa Stelly, for the way he’s turned his life around, adding:

"I'm so proud of Jack and his fiancée. Jack loves his privacy and he's turned out to be one of the most respectful, well-rounded and honest gentleman around. The two are going to make great parents."
