Kelly Osbourne: 'I've been to hell and back 17 times'

Singer turned TV presenter Kelly Osbourne has opened up about growing up in the public eye and revealed that while it was stressful she has learned some valuable lessons from her experience in the spotlight.

During a recent interview with ITV's This Morning, the star explained that she has taken back control and is now living her life on her own terms without catering for an audience:

"I think I've been to hell maybe 17 times in my life. And back! You've got to start living life on your terms and realising life isn't perfect and living it your way. You have to make mistakes and learn from them, that is the only way you can grow."

She also admitted that finding true love with chef Matthew Mosshart has shown her the way she deserves to be treated, adding:

"I'm very happy in my life, never been happier. You will never understand love until you let someone treat you the way you deserve to be treated. I learnt that the hard way."
