Kelly Rowland broke down in tears at the weekend whilst performing her new single.

As previously reported, the Destiny's Child star recently unleashed the track 'Dirty Laundry', which features frank and emotional lyrics about her relationship with former bandmate Beyoncé.

The singer was performing in Washington DC on Sunday night (May 27) when she played the song.

However, she started crying about two thirds of the way through the song, with the audience giving her support.

She managed to resume the track, which is set to feature on her upcoming album 'Talk A Good Game'.

The record is due to be released in the UK on June 17 and a day later in the US.

Rowland meanwhile previously revealed that she also cried whilst recording 'Dirty Laundry', which took "days" to finish.
