'Ke$ha's fans shouldn't send teeth' advises rehab spokesperson

Pop sensation Ke$ha is currently in a rehabilitation centre just outside of Chicago where she is dealing with an eating disorder, but a spokesperson from the clinic has urged her fans not to send in their teeth as gifts to her.

A friend of Ke$ha's took over her Twitter page earlier today (January 22) and told her 3.5 million followers that she wants their molars in order to make more 'tooth art', writing:

"Hey guys this is K's friend again. She's doing well and needs more of your teeth to make art with at the treatment center. She misses you :)"

But now, a representative from Timberline Knolls Centre has explained that real teeth won't be allowed onto the property because they pose a health risk: "We can't accept human remains. There is always a risk it could be bio-hazardous material so we are not bale to bring in anything that's real."

Yesterday, the same friend reassured her Animals that she's making great progress in the rehab program: "This is Kesha's friend. She asked me to tweet an update for her because she doesn't have access to twitter right now. She says, "THANK YOU. SOOO MUCH. I'm overwhelmed to tears by all of the love, letters, and support!! I'll be back soon and better than ever."
