Kesha thanks fans for their support during a "crazy year"
Kesha has sent a message of thanks to her fans after going through a turbulent year in 2014.
The beginning of the year saw Kesha checking herself into rehab for an eating disorder where she was later joined by her mother, songwriter Pebe Sebert, who was treated for post-traumatic stress disorder.
The ‘Tik Tok’ singer’s treatment forced her to cancel a number of tour dates but after leaving rehab in March she later joined the panel of TV show ‘Rising Star’ and also revealed that she had already started working on new music.
In October Kesha filed a lawsuit against her former producer Dr Luke, alleging sexual assault and forcible drug use. The legal battle is still ongoing.
27-year-old Kesha has now reflected on 2014 via social media. Over the holidays she wrote on Twitter:
“Been a crazy, crazy year… But I’m so thankful for u… The love and support this year has brought me to tears many times.”
She added: “I’m so lucky to have u… love u guys hope santa brought u all silk undies”.
