Kesha on cyberbullying campaign: 'Many people experience negative comments'

Kesha has confirmed her involvement in a new campaign to combat cyberbullying

She filmed a promotional video for Hack Harassment's new campaign, in which she can be seen lip-synching to negative comments posted by teens about one another online

The 'Die Young' star shared a link to the clip on Instagram and accompanied it with the following caption: "I am honoured to participate in Hack Harassment’s campaign. This issue is near and dear to my heart, as I have been bullied online for many years."

"I know I'm not alone in that. I know many people experience negative and hateful comments from perfect strangers. The Internet and social media can be so helpful in many ways, but one downside is that some people feel it's ok to hide behind a screen and be hateful to others. I, for one, believe no one should be subjected to harassment online."
