Kimberley Walsh admires Sarah Harding for seeking help

Kimberley Walsh is proud of her band mate Sarah Harding after she sought help in a treatment centre for "depression and alcohol issues".

The Girls Aloud singer told Britain's OK! magazine that it takes a lot of courage to stand up to your problems and being in the public eye makes it that much harder, so she admires Harding for admitting defeat and checking into rehab:

"You can't blame Sarah for knocking it on the head. It is brave as some people can't face up to things, and she obviously knew she had a problem and could help herself, and I'm proud of her for doing that."

Walsh, who is currently starring in Shrek: The Musical as Princess Fiona, recently celebrated her 30th birthday and added that it was strange not to have Harding present at the party so they will have a "night out" upon her return:

"In the past, we've had joint parties and we were both 30 this year, so it was sad not having her at my milestone birthday. We just want her back home now, safe, sound and back to normal. Sarah is back soon and we haven't celebrated her 30th yet, so it's just an excuse to have a night out. We'll definitely go out for dinner with Cheryl [Cole] there too."
