Kings of Leon play new tracks at secret gig

Chart-topping US rockers Kings of Leon played a set of new songs at a secret Radio 1 concert at Rivoli Ballroom in London last night (October 27).

The band showcased tracks from new album ‘Come Around Sundown’ during the one-off fans only show.

Singer Caleb Followill told the crowd the intimate venue made a change from their usual gigs:

“We don’t get to play venues like this very often. You guys have been wonderful, thank you for coming all this way.”

Earlier he had suggested the band’s hectic schedule was catching up with them:

“We just flew in yesterday so we are pretty jet lagged. The only way I know how to fight it is to get drunk.”
