Kings of Leon admit they had "shitty time" trying to recreate success of past

Kings Of Leon say they had a “shitty time” trying to recreate their 'Only By The Night’ 2008 album.

The fourth LP was the band's best-selling to date and spawned their hits ‘Use Somebody’ and ‘Sex On Fire’

Nathan Followill admitted: "We learned our lesson early on after our really big record.

“You put so much pressure on yourself after that – to at least maintain that momentum you’ve got going - and we really had a shitty time in the studio trying to do that. Trying to chase a hit or trying to recreate success.

“We were scared shitless and excited at the same time and just going into it we were like, 'We’re just gonna roll with it. And wherever the record takes us, that’s where we’re going to go'."

Kings Of Leon have just released their latest album ‘WALLS', which debuted at No.1 in the US and the UK.

The American rock band have confirmed a UK arena tour for next February.
