Kings of Leon to play Children In Need London concert

Rockers Kings of Leon have been confirmed to perform at London's Hammersmith Apollo for BBC Children In Need Rocks early next month.

The 'Sex On Fire' superstars will headline the venue on November 12 and money raised from ticket sales will be donated to the worthy charity. Other acts appearing at the two-night event include The Wanted, Dizzee Rascal, and Robbie Williams.

Gary Barlow, who curated the concerts, issued a statement on the band's addition to the bill and explained that he's excited they were so happy to take part: "I am absolutely thrilled to have Kings of Leon joining this year's Rocks concerts, they really are a fantastic addition to the line-up, and I cannot wait to see their performance on the Tuesday night, which is sure to bring the house down."

The show on November 12 will include Kings of Leon, Little Mix, Gary Barlow, Dizzee Rascal, Robbie Williams, Barry Manilow, and The Wanted. On November 13, Gary Barlow, The Lumineers, Tom Odell, Ellie Goulding, Rizzle Kicks, Bastille, and Passenger will treat fans to live sets.
