Kylie Minogue on Jessie J's 'The Voice' judging style: 'She has so much spunk'

Australian beauty Kylie Minogue has been confirmed to take Jessie J's place on the upcoming new season of 'The Voice' and confessed that she won't be able to fill such big shoes, but will bring a different style to the show.

Speaking to MTV News at the launch party for 'The Voice UK' series 3 earlier today in London (January 6), Minogue admitted that she was always impressed with how the 'Price Tag' superstar handled mentoring contestants and thinks she was an asset to the show:

"I think Jessie did a great job, especially for someone so young to be in that position and do the hard work. I wouldn't even get in the door if we were to talk about voices, with Jessie's phenomenal voice and talent, and the spunk that she has."

"I'm a completely different character so even if I was trying to really fill someone's seat you actually can't do that and you have no option but to be yourself. So I hope that Jessie enjoys seeing me in her seat and I'm very proud to be taking the reigns from her."

She also recently explained that chatting with hitmaker Will.i.Am cemented her decision to join the show as a judge and mentor: "I was considering it and I didn't I know what the answer was. Then I had a meeting in LA and will.i.am bombed the meeting. I had just one question to Will - how was the experience? He said he loved it, so I thought, 'OK, that's cool'."
