Kylie Minogue has spoken about her desire to work with Prince.

The ‘Into The Blue’ songstress admitted that she has been a Prince fan for quite some time during an interview with The Press Association:

Kylie said: “I would love to sing with Prince because he was my obsession as a teenager, literally. I might have paid for his car because I went to see ‘Purple Rain’ so many times.”

She also revealed that she came close to working with The Purple One in the past but a collaboration never came to fruition.

The Voice coach explained: “"I have met him. We actually almost did work together years ago. I went to Minneapolis and saw his studio, his set-up and everything but it didn't go any further.”

Minogue added: “It would be pretty cool to sing with Prince. There's a lot you could learn from Prince for sure.”

Another pop star Kylie Minogue has recently stated she would be interested in working with is Lady Gaga.
