Kylie Minogue cancels German concerts: "I can't stress enough how difficult and disappointing it is"

Kylie Minogue has been forced to cancel the German dates of her current ‘Kiss Me Once’ tour due to the financial difficulties of the shows’ promoter.

The Australian star was due to play four shows in Germany beginning on October 22 but has had to axe them as concert promoter CT Creative Talent GmbH's is going into preliminary insolvency hearings.

Amid the cancelled German concerts, Minogue has also had to call off a show in Austria, which was planned for October 23, due to the now altered schedule of her tour.

The ‘Can’t Get You Out Of My Head’ singer broke the news to fans via a statement released on her website.

She wrote: “I am extremely disappointed that due to financial difficulties of the German promoter CT Creative Talent GmbH, I am unable to perform the scheduled shows in Cologne, Munich, Berlin and Hamburg.”

Kylie explained: “The administrator who is now controlling CT Creative Talent GmbH, is unable to confirm that we have the venues and facilities needed to be able to put on the shows.”

The Aussie songstress concluded apologetically saying: “I have always had great support in Germany from a loyal and loving fan base and I can’t stress enough how difficult and disappointing it is to be ready to play the shows and to have been let down at the last minute.”

Kylie Minogue’s ‘Kiss Me Once Tour’ continues this evening (October 19) in Slovakia and will resume in Poland following the break now caused by the German cancellations.
