Kylie Minogue stresses the importance of marriage equality

Pop icon Kylie Minogue has confirmed that she will not get engaged to her fiancé, British actor Joshua Sasse, until same-sex marriage becomes legalised in her home country of Australia.

The "Spinning Around" superstar met Sasse last year and they announced their engagement back in February, but she told her Twitter followers this week that wedding bells won't be ringing until there is marriage equality down under. She tweeted: "Beau @joshuasasse #loveislove. We can say 'I Do' when you can too!"
