Kylie Minogue to perform 'Especially For You' duet

Kylie Minogue is set to team up with Jason Donovan to perform their classic duet 'Especially For You' later this month.

The pair, who released the song in 1988, were due to sing the track live for the first time at the Hit Factory Live event at London's Hyde Park in the summer.

However, it was cancelled due to poor weather and rescheduled to the O2 Arena on December 21.

The Official Charts Company reports that after speculation to the contrary, the pair will indeed sing the famous song at the new date.

Speaking recently about the duet to Yahoo, Minogue said:

"I feel like I have to do this. People are getting more and more desperate. They're like 'please, for the love of God can you just do it because we need it out of our system'."

Other acts playing the Pete Waterman event include Steps, Rick Astley and Bananarama.
